Seeking Writers Network Coordinator

Do you love networking with other authors? Are you good at reaching out to restaurants and other venues to set up events? Or do you just want to try your hand at it? 

If so, we’re interested in talking to you. We’re looking for a volunteer to do 5-10 hours a month, sometimes a little more, of work putting together our Writer’s Networking Events. Duties include:

  • Scheduling regular networking events for authors once a month.
  • Finding rotating venues in various areas of the valley to serve our members and others who might want to attend.
  • Checking registrations and providing restaurants and venues with the number of attendees and coordinating with them to best serve attendees.
  • Network with attendees and ensure everyone feels welcome at the event.

Is this a paid position? Not at this time. This is a volunteer position.

Does this position have a set term? Yes, this position is a one year commitment of 5-10 hours per month.
