Do you love lunch? I mean who doesn’t, right? Do you love interacting with and booking speakers who bring value and inspiration to writers? Have you coordinated events for authors or even other organizations before?
If so, we’re interested in talking to you. We’re looking for a volunteer to do 5-10 hours a month, sometimes a little more, of work on organizing our literary lunches and booking the speakers for each. Responsibilities include:
- Finding and maintaining a venue or venues for our literary lunches.
- Seeking out and scheduling speakers who are informative and inspiring to our members and other luncheon attendees.
- Making sure our speakers are cared for with lunch, drinks, and the audio and video equipment they need to present at the luncheon.
- Ensuring the venue has a headcount for lunches, and is prepared to serve our attendees.
- As our organization grows, this position may grow as well. We’re looking for someone to come grow with us.
