Event Type

April 12-13, 2024 This year, the theme of our conference is “The Lifelong Author.” Do you want to write for life? Most writers never really retire: this is not a hobby or even a career. It’s a lifestyle. But what does that mean to you? How do you manage your work/life balance, exercise, time with your family or friends, diet, and exercise? No matter what your author career looks like, you won’t want to miss this. Whether you:

  • Write for fun because you love it
  • Write as a side gig to make a little extra money and have fun, or
  • Write as your primary form of making a living

We’ll have classes on everything about the business and the craft of writing and what a writer’s lifestyle actually looks like. You’ll be able to:

  • Improve your physical health and wellness
  • Keep mentally healthy and better deal with issues when they arise
  • Improve your writing ability and understand how fast you can actually write

We have an all-star guest lineup again this year, including our keynote speaker, James A. Owen! Learn more about our speakers and check out scheduling updates as they happen. Check out the schedule here!

More details will be added, and a final schedule will be available closer to the time of the conference. There will also be an all-day workshop the day before the conference by Claire Taylor and Becca Syme on using the Enneagram and Clifton Strengths to make an author career that is sustainable.  You won’t want to miss that. Bundle the workshop with the conference, and save! EARLY BIRD PRICING AVAILABLE NOW! This special pricing ends on February 15, 2024!
