With over 20 years in the creative writing industry, Colleen M. Story has written three award-winning books to help writers succeed: Your Writing Matters, Writer Get Noticed!, and Overwhelmed Writer Rescue. Her novels include The Beached Ones, released with CamCat Books in July 2022, and Loreena’s Gift, a Foreword Reviews’ INDIES Book of the Year Awards winner. She frequently serves as a speaker and workshop leader, where she helps attendees remove mental and emotional blocks and tap into their unique creative powers. A lifelong musician, she plays the French horn in her local symphony and pit orchestras. When not writing, she’s exploring the beautiful Northwest and making up more challenging games for her smart German Shepherd to play. Find more at
